Using the space

This page is for members and guests who need quick access to the space's resources

Classroom

• whiteboards across the west side wall
• has a projector, VGA and HDMI inputs, movable screen
• sound system with low-quality speakers, 3.5mm input
• one light cannot be turned off without electrical room access
• panels to close the windows to keep sunlight out
• seating space for ~25 people on chairs
• 3 public PCs, XP/Ubuntu

Lounge

• has a projector, VGA and HDMI inputs, fixed screen
• sound system with good speakers, 3.5mm input
• 2 public PCs, XP/Ubuntu
• seating space for ~20 people on couches/chairs

Network

• wireless is available throughout the space, password is posted
• gigabit ethernet ports are installed throughout the space

Food

• the kitchen area has a sink, small oven, microwave, freezer, fridge, and vending machine
• soft drinks and basic snacks (mini mizzas, jamaican patties, etc) are for sale.

Bathrooms

• men's bathroom has 2 sinks, toilet and shower
• women's bathroom has 2 sinks, 2 toilets and table

Building/Area

• 2 freight elevators - old models, need someone to unlock the 3rd floor door in advance
• street parking outside, bicycles can be attached to a grate against the building
• multiple restaurants nearby - Subway, Pita pit, multiple good chinese restaurants
• roof access available if arranged in advance
