We have decided to implement an actual cleaning solution in the space. Currently, a SkullSpace member will take care of the cleaning, in exchange for free membership (basically, for $40/month). The duties are as follows:

  • Weekly
    • Garbage and recycling removal
    • Wash "found" dishes (members should still wash their own)
    • Wipe down and/or dust kitchen appliances
    • Throw out any old food in the fridge (best judgement)
    • Vaccum high-traffic or particularly dirty areas, if needed
    • Sweep particularly dirty areas as needed

  • Monthly
    • Clean the restrooms
    • Vacuum the entire carpeted area
    • Sweep the concrete area

Weekly tasks should be done during weekdays, if possible, and monthly should be done in the week leading up to the monthly Hackathons.

SkullSpace will purchase or re-imburse for supplies as needed.
