In keeping with our tradition of not making rules until we need to, I propose the following amendment. This amendment will make it so that an application will not be rejected unless the board accepts the objections to the application
Current
If two or more members object to the granting of membership to an applicant, the board must not approve the application for membership.
Proposed
If two or more members object to the granting of membership to an applicant, a board decision will determine whether the application for membership will be approved.
