Funds for Improving SkullSpace (Current as of April 17, 2012)
Skullspace has budgeted money in five different areas that can be used to benefit the space. With the exception of the Projects fund, which is distrubuted by a monthly vote, all spending under $1,000 simply requires the approval of a director.
Projects
- Current Amount: $200.00
- Estimated Monthly Allocation: $100.00
The Projects fund is allocated once a month to whichever project the membership votes the most deserving.
Promotional
- Current Amount: $240.00
- Estimated Monthly Allocation: $60.00
For things that help promote SkullSpace and expand our reach in the community. Uses include: stickers, t-shirts, and hackathon promotion.
Renovations
- Current Amount: $590.07
- Estimated Monthly Allocation: $375.00
For things that physically improve SkullSpace's facilities. Uses include: Doors, wood, appliances, and food for renovation volunteers.
Supplies Fund
- Current Amount: $80.00
- Estimated Monthly Allocation: $20.00
For miscellaneous supplies that are essential to keeping a hackerspace happy and sanitary. Uses include: toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and various cleaning products.
Tools and Equipment
- Current Amount: $400.00
- Estimated Monthly Allocation: $100.00
For common tools and equipment shared between members. Uses include: soldering irons, multimeters, screwdrivers, and server racks.
