You will need:
- 13 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 18 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter + 1tbsp
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup + 2tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp espresso powder
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups pecans
Preparation:
- In a double boiler melt unsweetened chocolate and 9 oz of semi sweet chocolate and butter
- mix eggs and sugar. add espresso, vanilla
- add chocolate mix to butter and sugar mix until smooth
- add flour, baking powder and salt to mixture until just combined
- add remaining choc chip and nuts
- chill for 20 mins and preheat oven to 325F
- scoop out 1/2 cup amounts of dough and place on ungreased sheet
- bake 25 mins or until tops crack
- cool on rack
