Dramatic Chip Cookies

Dramatic Chip Cookies (Brownie cookies)

3oz unsweetened chocolate 18oz semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup butter + 1tbsp 3 eggs 1 cup + 2tbsp sugar 1tbsp espresso powder 1 tbsp vanilla extract 6 tbsp flour 3/4tsp salt 1/2tsp baking powder 1 1/2 cup walnuts 1 1/2 cup pecans

In a double boiler melt unsweetened chocolate and 90z of semi sweet chocolate and butter

mix eggs and sugar. add espresso, vanilla

add chocolate mix to butter and sugar mix until smooth

add flour, baking powder and salt to mixture until just combined add remaining choc chip and nuts

chill for 20 mins and preheat oven 325

scoop out 1/2 cup amounts of dough and place on un greased sheet bake 25 or until tops crack

cool on rack
