- 1 bunch fresh basil, chopped (around one cup)
- 1/3 cup good olive oil
- 1 cup pine nuts (walnuts work well also)
- 8 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
- salt and cracked black pepper to taste
- Coarsely chop nuts in food processor - Add remaining ingredients and blend evenly, leaving some texture
