Salad Fingers allow you to eschew your utensils when faced with the evening's leafy offerings. This recipe is stuffed with all the things normally found in a traditional garden salad.
(Filling)
- 1 Large Carrot
- 200 g Radishes
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 4 Green Onions
- 200 g Mushrooms
- 1 Large Field Tomato
- 150 g Feta/Cheddar/Etc Cheese?
- 100 mL Olives (If you have feta)
- 240 mL Ranch Dressing (or 100 mL vinaigrette for vegans?)
- Rust, if desired
(Shell)
- 8 Romain Lettuce Leaves
Preparation:
- Finely chop vegetables. Use a grater for quick preparation:
- Carrot in Fine Grater
- Radishes in Fine Grater
- Green Bell Pepper in Coarse Grater
- Use Fine Grater to Grate cheese, or crumble feta with a fork
- Mix all the filling vegetables with the dressing
- Wash and pat dry 8 Romain Lettuce leaves
- Fill leaf with Filling
- Roll leaf into a slender package
- The feeling of salad fingers is almost... orgasmic.
